ReMail lets you search all your iPhone emails’ text

Finally, iPhone email search is here. ReMail is now being beta tested, and it’s able to search through all of the email on your iPhone email app. This is better than the upcoming email search on iPhone OS 3.0, which only searches email headers. This searches the entire body of email.

Unfortunately, once the beta test period is over, you’ll have to pay four bucks a month for ReMail. And those of you who don’t trust “the cloud” won’t like it much, either, because it works by keeping all of your email text on a server, and when you ask it to search, it returns those terms to your iPhone.

Oh, well. Maybe one of these days, Apple will finally create proper email search for the iPhone.
