I’ve been waiting for this Netgear EVA 9150 Digital Entertainer Elite box for literally years. Put this slim set-top box in your home theater, and it might take the place of an entire computer. Why do I care? Here’s a hint:

- Supports a whole range of audio and video codecs
One thing’s for sure, it can mightily smack down the pathetically lame Apple TV, playing just about every type of video file you can imagine. And yes, fellow buccaneers, it plays your pirate fave Matroska (.mkv) files with enough bandwidth to easily crunch 1080p.
